What product is used in a lip enhancement treatment?

What is the filler made of?
The filler is a clear gel, a synthetic hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring substance found in the body that gives volume to the skin.
How does the filler work?
The filler adds volume to the skin. Your practitioner will inject small amounts of filler directly into the lip or lip line which adds volume and fullness.. You will be given a local anesthetic to numb the lip area as it is extremely sensitive. Once this has taken effect Dr Rose will inject the lip area with the dermal filler.

How long does it take?
The whole procedure takes around 30 – 45 minutes
Does it hurt?
Dr Rose will apply a local anesthetic or a dental block to numb the lip area so any discomfort will be minimized.

How long does it last?
Although the results vary from one person to another, the results of a lip enhancement treatment with dermal fillers can last for up to six months. The filler is gradually broken down and absorbed by the body, so eventually, your lips will return to their previous appearance without top-up treatments
